With our online live English courses, given by native-speaking, highly-qualified English teachers, you have the flexibility to choose when and how often you have lessons, fitting it in around your other commitments.

You will have plenty of opportunity for speaking practice and any other skills development you would like to focus on; you may wish to bring your own materials, such as presentations or work projects. Your teacher will always be available via email for regular support and feedback, and to answer any questions you may have between lessons. So, let our teachers come to you!

Please read the following conditions carefully before booking your course.

1. Acceptance of Enrolment

Acceptance of enrolment, evidenced by confirmation of the Student’s booking, will constitute a legally binding agreement, governed by English Law, for the period specified on the enrolment form. Students’ statutory rights are not affected by the conditions below.

The School will maintain quality and standards as required by a British Council & ISI accredited school.

3. Payment

All fees in respect of services specified on the Application Form are due for payment in full 7 days before the starting date. By paying the fees the student agrees to study for the number of hours purchased. The School reserves the right not to provide such services in the event that such fees have not been paid by the due date. The Student is responsible for all foreign and UK bank charges. Please note that bank transfers may take 5 to 6 working days to reach our account. Please allow for this. It is essential that the Student’s name and invoice number is clearly stated on the bank transfer documentation. Please contact us for bank transfer details.

Cancellation by the Student A class may be rescheduled or cancelled by writing an e-mail to the School at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson is due to take place. If a class is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, no refund for that lesson will be given. If a student fails to attend the class without notification, the class will be charged for. Cancellation by the Teacher: In the event that the teacher is unable to give the class, you will be notified as quickly as possible by email and the lesson will be postponed and re-scheduled at an appropriate and agreed future time. You will not be charged for this class.

The Student may postpone their class(es) by giving the School a minimum of 24 hours notice (or on Friday for Monday classes). All fees will be transferred to a later starting date.

6. Refunds

Refunds of total or partial course fees will be given if the Student emails notice of cancellation to the School at least 14 days prior to the scheduled starting date. No refunds are given for cancellations of less than 14 days. Unused course fees may be transferred to another student if the appropriate cancellation notice has been received. Refunds will be made to the payment card or account that was used to make the original payment. Such refund credit will be made in currency of purchase (UK £s). Credits may take 30-45 days to appear on the account or card. Please note that the enrolment fee is non-refundable.

Our teaching days are Monday to Friday unless there is a public holiday or the school is closed for the New Year holiday. See below for holiday dates. We will always aim to make teachers available for classes at times that are convenient to the student. The student should make every effort to ensure that the chosen schedule is realistic and one that can be adhered to. The School reserves the right to rotate teachers and change lesson times. The School is the ultimate arbiter of the schedule to allow us to plan and organise our teacher timetable

The Teacher will allow 10 minutes waiting time from the start time of the class. If after 10 minutes the Student does not connect to Skype and start the class then the lesson is deemed to have taken place and no refund will be given for non attendance. If a Student starts a class late, the class will still finish at the original scheduled time

The School may refuse to accept a student if we feel we cannot meet the needs of that student for any reason. The student will be informed that we are unable to offer them classes or are unable to continue to offer them classes. We are not required to give any reasons. Any unused fees will be refunded.

If the Student’s technology fails to the point that the class can no longer take place, the Teacher will wait for 10 minutes for a reconnection before cancelling and rescheduling the lesson. If internet connection continues to be a problem, this will be discussed with the Student and the course may be cancelled if the technical issues cannot be resolved. If the Teacher’s technology fails, the lesson will not be charged for but rescheduled for a future date.

Students are also required to provide the School with full and accurate contact details and it is the Student’s responsibility to inform the School of any changes to contact details.

An electronic certificate of Course Completion and report will be issued at the end of the course. Invoices and receipts will also be emailed on request

Students / parents must report on their application form any mental or physical illness, allergy, disability or condition that may interfere with their ability to successfully finish their course, that may impact the health or well being the teacher, that may require monitoring, treatment or emergency intervention of any kind during the student’s anticipated period of enrolment. The School reserves the right to reject an applicant or terminate a student’s enrolment in the programme if the student’s continued participation represents a risk to their own health and safety and well-being or to the health and safety and well-being of the teacher.

All prices and information are presented in good faith. However, the School reserves the right to alter programme prices and details without prior notice.

The Student is responsible for ensuring they have a working high-speed internet connection, headphone/speakers and microphone at the time of their lesson. If the audio or video quality is poor due to slow internet, the Teacher may ask the Student to switch off the webcam to improve the audio quality. The Student is required to install Skype on their computer, create a Skype ID and add our Teacher to their contact list.
